What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before? Surgery, had to use a wheelchair, rode a motorized scooter in the store, changed a toilet’s fill valve, bought a new car, installed floating laminate flooring, fired a rifle, saw a psychiatrist, went to a Bucc-ee’s, caught and cleaned and cooked a fish, went to my community theater, went to the local farmer’s market, played washers, used a circular saw, Arizona, Grand Canyon, made my 2nd annual 5K, surf fished, bought a fishing pole, bought land at the lake, got engaged, went engagement ring shopping, rode a four-wheeler, ate frog legs, got engaged, fire a shotgun, bought nice furniture, made deer sausage, planned a wedding,
Did anyone close to you give birth? My youngest brother had his first baby – Elijah. My friend had a baby girl – Aribella. And my boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend had a baby boy – Vincent .
Did anyone close to you die? No
What countries did you visit? None
What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013? No debt
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Transitioned to a new field of nursing
What was your biggest failure? I did very little writing.
Did you suffer illness or injury? Thankfully, nothing serious.
What was the best thing you bought? New feet and land at the lake
Where did most of your money go? Hospital bills and land
What did you get really, really, really excited about? … new job in surgery, wedding planning, honeymoon planning

What do you wish you’d done more of? Always wish I’d traveled more.
What do you wish you’d done less of? Spend time on Facebook.
How did you spend Christmas? I spent Christmas Eve with my family and fiance and then Christmas day with my fiance and his family.

What was the best book you read? The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald and The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Gaiman
What did you want and get? A bathroom at our lake campsite

What was your favorite film of this year? This little sushi documentary —- having trouble remembering the name.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? … turned 30, family dinner, dinner with friends
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably satisfying? More alone time
Who did you miss? My sister. We didn’t spend as much time together.
