My little bird is doing great after breaking his beak back in March. The top has grown nearly all the way down. Without the top beak there, the bottom beak grows unrestrained. This is the second time I’ve had to take him to get it cut down so that it doesn’t interfere with his eating. I still hand feed him some baby food every other day or so. He’s gotten spoiled the last few months.
He turns 14 this month. He’s very sweet, and I always thought that was because he was a hand fed baby. According to my vet, lovebirds don’t usually stay nice. Pip is extra special.
